Giyantoro is a seasoned banking professional with over 36 years of extensive experience in the industry. He possesses deep expertise in risk management, Islamic banking, treasury dealing, bank restructuring, business development, and banking mergers and acquisitions.

He earned his Bachelor of Economics in Development Studies from Diponegoro University in 1989. He later completed his Master of Management, majoring in Banking Management, at PERBANAS Institute in 2019. In addition to his formal education, he has undertaken numerous professional trainings and certifications, including Banking Risk Management Levels 1–5 (BNSP, 2013–2017), Banking Risk Management for Directors/Commissioners (BNSP, 2022), and Fit & Proper Test certification covering Indonesian Economic Policy, Risk Mitigation, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), and Regional Development Bank (BPD) Transformation (LPPI, 2017).

Throughout his distinguished career, Giyantoro has held several key leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Banking at PT Bank BRI Syariah (2020), Senior Vice President & Regional Manager at PT Bank Bumiputera (2009), Assistant Vice President – SME East Regional at PT Bank Duta (2000), and Merger Process Consultant at PT BPRS HIK Bekasi.

He currently serves as a Senior Partner at RIVAI Business Consulting. His extensive experience and comprehensive banking expertise significantly strengthen the firm’s capability in addressing complex corporate banking needs and delivering strategic, high-level solutions to clients across the financial sector.
